The United States’ strategic plan in Syria has been to sever the state from its allies, particularly Russia and Iran, according to an analyst.

British independent photojournalist Vanessa Beeley, who is an expert, activist, and blogger and has worked in the Middle East, said the US foreign policy in regard to Syria under US President Joe Biden is the same as his predecessor, Donald Trump.

“The road map remains the same – to sever Syria from its allies, particularly Russia and Iran. Russia is the nemesis of the UK and US and Iran of Israel,” she told Press TV in an interview on Tuesday.

“In my opinion, there is no point in comparing the policies of bi-partisan presidents, they are all tools in the hands of the globalist oligarchy. Biden has no strategy, he does what he is told by the deep state players,” she said.

Beeley said that in addition to this the US is stealing Syrian oil.

“Very recently a US convoy was tracked stealing Syrian oil and smuggling it out via northern Iraq for sale in Turkey and then to Israel. This is a regular occurrence. The US relies upon this oil banditry to provide revenue for their proxy forces still occupying the northeast and northwest of Syria,” she said.

The respected journalist reported that the US proxies fighting in Syria were systematically destroying the country.

“The US proxy terrorist groups have systematically destroyed civilian infrastructure including hospitals, electrical power stations and water sources in all areas they have invaded and occupied,” she said.

A senior Syrian diplomat says embargo and terrorism and continued occupation of parts of Syrian territories by foreign forces have caused grave violations of human rights.

She said that it was an open secret that since the US launched the so-called “war on terror”, violence has increased in the region.

“[S]ince 9/11 and the Bush-launched ‘war on terror’ – terror has increased exponentially worldwide sponsored, promoted and sustained by the US and members of the globalist alliance including the UK, EU, [Persian] Gulf States and of course, Israel,” Beeley noted.

Beeley expressed hope “the resourcefulness and resistance of the Syrian people and the strength of Syria’s alliances,” will bring about victory for the nation, warning Washington, “This will not end well for the US.”
