Trump F-16 sales to Taiwan spark warning from China
China has warned of the ‘consequences’ if the United States sells F-16 jets to Taiwan. Donald Trump approved the $8 billion sale of F-16 fighter jets to Taipei on Friday.
The plan to sell 66 fighter jets is the largest single arms transaction between the United States and Taiwan. The sale is expected to further escalate a trade war between US and China.
