Several types of Ragú brand pasta sauce are being recalled over fears they could contain fragments of plastic.
The popular label’s parent company, Mizkan America, issued the recall on Saturday.<

They say that no injuries have been reported, and that they have decided to recall the products ‘out of an abundance of caution’, according to CNN.
Five different Ragú products have been recalled, including three different sizes of the popular Chunky Tomato, Garlic & Onion flavor pasta sauce.
The sauces were produced between June 4 and 8 of this year, and have been distributed nationally.
However, Mizkan America believes that they still have a majority of the production run in their control.
The five products being recalled all have Best By Dates between June 4 and June 6 2020.
Mizkan America says it will provide replacement coupons to those who have bought the affected products already.
Mizkan is a Japanese company which specializes in the production of condiments.
In 2014, Mizkan Group purchased Ragú and fellow pasta sauce brand Bertolli for $2.15 billion.
