Thousands rally against poverty in Washington

Thousands on Saturday rallied in Washington against poverty and social injustice concluding a march named ‘Poor People’s Campaign’ that started in May.

 

The key issues the campaign was meant to address were wages, housing, education, healthcare and immigration. Dozens of activists and rights leaders attended the Saturday rally which concluded outside the Capitol Hill.
