Sheriff deputies in Oregon are being investigated for taking nude photo graphs of themselves at a local county courthouse.

The incident occurred on September 23 at the Clackamas County courthouse, where at least a dozen deputies, along with one sergeant and a captain, are suspected of taking nude or semi-nude photographs of one another.

According to The Oregonian, the law enforcement officials wanted to make a calendar for a retiring colleague.

Its unclear if the officers allegedly involved in the photo shoot received a reprimand, but Clackamas County sheriff’s supervisor Capt. Dave O’Shaughnessy was placed on paid administrative leave earlier in the week.

According to agency spokesperson Deputy Ben Frazier, O’Shaughnessy, a 24-year-veteran of the force, is in charge of deputies at the courthouse.

The department was made aware of the photo shoot after a anonymous source sent a letter addressed to Sheriff Craig Roberts and The Oregonian newspaper.

The letter offers details of the photo shoot, describing the officers posing with objects to hide their genitals, another nude deputy on a desk and shirtless cops on a bed of flowers holding assaults rifle and a cat.

‘Behavior like this, if true, is not acceptable and extremely troubling,’ Roberts said, adding that the allegations are being taken ‘very seriously.’

The Oregonian reported that the anonymous whistle-blower believed the calendar was meant to mock homosexuals, and that his wife told him a courthouse deputy ‘was laughing and bragging to her’ about the calendar last week.

The calendar was given to the retiring officer following the end of his retirement party.
