The Hezbollah media wing released several photos on Friday that showed the seized equipment of the Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Nusra.
Some of the photos released by Hezbollah showed Saudi-supplied goods held by the Al-Qaeda linked fighters.
Relevant reports said in late July that the Hezbollah troops entered the largest and main military site of the Al-Nusra Front in Arsal heights.
Local sources said that the resistance fighters pushed the Al-Nusra terrorists back from more positions and entered their main site in one of the mountains in Wadi al-Kheil region covering an almost 400sq/m of area.
The sources further added that the terrorists’ site included a jail where several Lebanese soldiers were once jailed. They had been captured in clashes with Al-Nusra in 2014 but were freed later.
The ‘Arsal Barrens were captured by Hezbollah two weeks ago after a brief operation was conducted in the Qalamoun Mountains of Syria and Lebanon.
