Russia flat out tells the EU to “bite me” over it’s illegal fuel sanctions against the Syrian Arab republic
Isn’t it ironic that America, NATO/The EU says little to nothing about the shipment of oil and supplies to terrorists, yet they make a big stink over the legitimate government and the legitimate armed forces of the Syrian Arab Republic receiving oil and fuel from Russia?
This is part of the Western imperial stand. We can do it, but if you do it when we say stop, then you are in violation of some sort of sanctions, even though the sanctions are illegal. This is how the West operates.
Global hypocrites. Russia, being an independent nation and one of the 2 most powerful ones of the white world, which just so happens to be a target of the West, rightfully tells them where to get off!
EU sanctions over jet fuel supply to Syria don’t matter to Russia – MoD
EU sanctions imposed on fuel supplies to Syria have nothing to do with the Russian Air Force, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Major General Igor Konashenkov said Tuesday.
The comment came in response to reports saying that Russian tankers providing the Russian air group in Syria with fuel allegedly violated EU sanctions.
“Various schemes existing in the EU, restrictions and sanctions on fuel supply to the Syrian Arab Republic don’t matter to Russia, to put it mildly,” Konashenkov said, adding that “Russia is one of the world leaders in oil refinering.” Earlier, Reuters reported that Russian tankers allegedly smuggled fuel into Syria through EU waters, evading the EU ban.(RT)
