Advisors to US President-elect Donald Trump have suggested the possibility that JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon could serve as treasury secretary in the new administration.
Trump’s advisors considered the idea of appointing Dimon after Trump won the US presidential election on Tuesday night, CNBC reported citing sources.

He was reportedly considered for treasury secretary by President Barack Obama’s transition team before Timothy Geithner was chosen in 2009.
