You may want to be careful where and when you drink Stiff Bull Herbal Coffee. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued the following warning:

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to purchase or use Stiff Bull Herbal Coffee, a product promoted for improving energy. This product was identified by FDA during an examination of international mail shipments.

The FDA has found desmethyl carbodenafil in the coffee, an ingredient quite similar to sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra. Viagra, as you probably know, is not coffee but a medication originally approved for erectile dysfunction. (Although, nowadays many people may use Viagra and similar medications as sex aids.) Talk about using coffee to get up in the morning.

Thus, drinking Still Bull Herbal Coffee could lead to some rather awkward coffee meet-ups. Now you know what the company probably means when it claims that Stiff Bull Herbal Coffee is a “relationship saver”…if it doesn’t land you in the hospital or worse.

As the FDA warning continues, “This undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. Men with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease often take nitrates.” Therefore, the coffee plus certain medications could be a hazardous and even lethal combination.
