For years financial experts have been issuing warnings about the weakening global economy, highlighting signs to look for, all in an attempt to warn the masses of what they saw coming at us like an out-of-control freight train, with the mainstream media downplaying each global “event” and treating anyone that wasn’t pushing the “nothing to see here, move along” official narrative, as if they were nothing more than “conspiracy” theorists.

As Michael Snyder from the Economic Collapse Blog pointed out in early April the MSM is now uttering the forbidden words “economic collapse” as we see country after country go down in flames.

When the media finally starts telling a portion of the truth as they are starting to now, it is too late to stop the dominoes from falling…….

HUNGER GAMES

While there is no shortage of Internet information available on what happens when total collapse happens in a country, one doesn’t have to look to theories, or predictions, all one has to do is look at Venezuela, present day, where rolling blackouts, riots and food shortages have residents saying the country is starting to look like the movie series “The Hunger Games.”

Maduro warned that the water level behind the nation’s largest dam has fallen to near its minimum operating level because of a severe drought. If it gets much lower, the whole nation could be plunged into darkness. Experts say lack of planning and maintenance is to blame as much as the weather.

Caracas is being spared from the rolling blackouts and has not seen violent protests. Some Venezuelans complain that the country is starting to resemble the dystopian series “The Hunger Games,” in which districts suffer for the benefit of a heartless capital city.

In late April 2016, J.D. Heyes at Natural News highligted how bad conditions really are right here in America, stating “And there are many, many other problem areas as well. According to the American Society of Civil Engineers, which puts together a report card every four years grading the nation’s infrastructure, in 2013 the U.S. received a grade of “D+,” as the group estimated infrastructure upgrades to water pipes, the electric grid, roads and bridges would surpass $3.6 trillion.”
