This fierce-looking beast was discovered by a Chinese fisherman – but no one quite knows what it is.
The sharp-toothed fish was retrieved from the water by an angler who said he’d never seen anything like it in his 20 years of fishing.
Liang, from Hongwei Village in Jiangmen, a city in China’s southern Guangdong Province, is hoping experts can shed some light on it.
The fish is two feet five inches long (CEN)
The fisherman said he and his friends were fishing in Xi River – a tributary of the Pearl River – when he caught the animal.
The fish, measuring 75 centimetres (two feet five inches), has long dark green body with a white belly and long mouth with razor-sharp teeth inside……more here
