A deeper look into this statement by an Iranian General: Iran will defend Syria’s airspace if Damascus requests

Note: I know that some of you, especially so-called geo-strategists, are probably taking this latest announcement as bluster because you see the US Arab lackeys as having formidable air forces loaded with US made f-15’s and F-16’s ,which are a notch above most of what Iran has in their inventory.

The thing about this kind of logic is this. Iran also possesses MIG29 fulcrums which are more than a match for US made F-15’s & F-16’s. They also have US made F-14’s which have been upgraded to a level that allows them to compete with the F-15’s & F-16’s.

They are the leader in the region with early warning, Drones(Strike drones that have been picture at distances of occupied Palestine), & they also possess long range radars which no other nation in that region is in possession of. This gives them a formidable array of tools.

Iran also can use Iraqi territory whenever it likes as an air corridor or land route. This gives them another tool in their arsenal.
