The girlfriend of a popular 16-year-old schoolboy discovered he had died by watching a Facebook video of him on the ground after he was gunned down during a fight.
Faith Camir watched as Taylor Brantley lay dying in the footage captured after a shooting outside Mojave High School in Las Vegas on Friday.
The teenager was killed after a fight broke out between approximately 50 people. His family believes he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
A youngster in the crowd captured the confrontation and posted it on social media.
A witness told the Las Vegas Review Journal the scuffle started between two people, but grew until someone fired eight shots.
Police are yet to make any arrests and said they are not ready to identify a suspect.
Camir told the newspaper Brantley loved ‘making people feel better’ and always smiled.
‘I still don’t know how to feel. He’s not gone until I see him in a casket,’ she added.
A makeshift memorial with roses, teddy bears candles was set up outside the high school on Saturday as friends and family paid tribute to the schoolboy, also known as Tay Meez.
At one point an SUV drove up alongside the mourners and shouted that Brantley died like a gangster because it’s what happens when you ‘act like a gangster’…..More Here
