They are no longer cowering in fear over displeasing this devil…Argentina warns of ‘severe measures’ over US diplomat’s remarks

Greetings,

ars2One thing that I like about the South American nations today is, they don’t just take it on the chin from America anymore. They response in kind and rebuff in kind. America is losing her sway over them.

They are no longer cowering in fear over displeasing this devil. Nation after nation is rising up challenging the once unchallenged hegemonic power.

arsRemember…”America has not only lost and is still losing friendship all over Asia and Africa,…but she is now losing friendship right here with her next-door neighbors, Central and South America.”–pg.108(tfoa)

Argentina warns of ‘severe measures’ over US diplomat’s remarks

US envoy Kevin Sullivan sparked the most critical diplomatic row with Argentina in more than 10 years. Sullivan said “for the US it’s important that Argentina get out of its international debt default”.

This is while President Kirchner government has always denied Argentina is in a default situation as the South American country always honored its debt with the restructured sovereign debt bondholders.

Argentina’s foreign ministry has condemned Sullivan’s comments calling it inappropriate statements Economy Minister Axel Kicillof said the US envoy’s attacks on to Argentina’s national currency, were part of a US move to destabilize the country.

Though the opposition figures say the government is creating a smokescreen to cover up its internal conflicts, experts say the authorities should take tougher measures against Washington The foreign ministry has warned the US administration that if this kind of meddling into the internal affairs of Argentina is repeated, further diplomatic actions would be adopted, including the expulsion of the US diplomat for violating the Vienna Convention on international relations.

Although the Barack Obama administration initially showed some signs of support to Argentina in its dispute with the US´ vulture funds, it eventually voted against all the resolutions passed by UN and the Organization of American States condemning the international actions of those hedge capitals in developing countries. Experts say the statements of the interim US ambassador finally reveal Washington’s real position not only in this lawsuit, but also regarding the entire sovereign debt case
