Russia’s asymmetric sanctions causes Brussels to climb down off it’s high horse

Being belligerent following America’s lead, the EU has gotten itself in quite a little pickle. Russia is forcing these unelected leaders in Brussels to climb down off their political high horse. They have now bitten off more than they can chew.

After the threats of more sanctions and the move to target Russia’s financial sector and oil and gas companies ,Russia has moved with counter measures. These counter measures are forcing the EU to rethink their alliance with America.

EU could postpone new sanctions against Russia – source

The EU could postpone the introduction of a new package of sanctions against Russia, ITAR-TASS reported, citing a diplomatic source at a mission of one of the West European states. The European Commission earlier said it expected the package of sanctions to get its final approval on Monday. “The package is due to be formally adopted by the member states through written procedure later today,” RIA Novosti quoted Commission spokeswoman Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen as saying.
