Chapter 14

Persecution Follows the Coming of God BY MESSENGER ELIJAH MUHAMMAD:

1 He (Mr. W. F. Muhammad, God in person) chose to suffer three and half years to show his love for his people, who have suffered over three hundred years at the hands of a people who by nature are evil and wicked and have no good in them. He was persecuted, sent to jail in 1932, and ordered out of Detroit, on May 26, 1933. He came to Chicago in the same year and was arrested almost immediately on his arrival and placed behind prison bars.

2 He submitted himself with all humbleness to his persecutors. Each time he was arrested, he sent for me so that I might see and learn the price of Truth for us, the so-called American Negroes (members of the Asiatic nation).

3 He was well able to save himself from such suffering, but how else was the scripture to be fulfilled? We followed in his footsteps, suffering the same persecution.

4 My people are yet sound asleep to the knowledge of the good that is being carried on for their deliverance. The whole world of our kind awaits the awakening, and our awakening is the last step in the Resurrection and Judgment of the world. It is a sin that we were put so soundly to sleep. The end of the world has arrived, and most of us know it not. Our enemies’ greatest desire is that we remain asleep. My people fight and oppose the God of our own salvation.

5 Allah chose for us Islam as a religion. He desires to set us in Heaven at once, on condition that we submit to Him and accept the religion of Islam, the religion of God and His Prophets. In this religion (Islam), He offers us universal friendship, and we who have submitted to Him know this to be true.

6 We know white people have and will continue to prosecute anyone who offers help to us, the so-called American Negroes (Asiatics). Should persecution or even death stop the worthy help that will save the lives of the so-called Negroes? No, it shall not.

7 The so-called Negroes are absolutely friendless and have sought in vain friendship from their enemies, due to the ignorance of self and their enemies, due to the ignorance of self and their enemies. Now they are offered universal friendship if they will only accept their own (Allah and Islam).

Those old Muslims be like, “Haaa!!! I been hearing that all my life. But those new Muslims, All they say is “Yesssss!!! We hear and We obey!!! Messenger Elijah Muhammad teaches us that, “These men coming up here dressed up in the Moon and Star, these are the people of the hereafter. Now don’t think you can get by if it’s not in your heart; it’s got to be in your heart, no showoffs today. These people are not showing off; they have it in their hearts. The whole entire dress can be singled out and spoken with understanding in these few words: Freedom, Justice, and Equality. Freedom that you never had a chance to enjoy, because you’ve been with your slave master who is depriving you of freedom; also justice have never come to you. Equality of nations has never come to you, but now it’s coming to you.

You can wear this uniform anywhere on the planet Earth and among any nation you are welcomed. They will welcome you. they will say, come in, because they know you’re not a fool with that Crescent wrapped around your shoulders and head. They know your not a fool for you to wear that. They who put it on you, taught you what it was and that’s right. Elijah Muhammad teaches us nothing but right.

Master Fard Muhammad through Elijah Muhammad said to us, “Fear not, oh ye my little flock. I, your Lord, will do great things for you.” He’s so wise; He’s so mighty;, He found me shivering, and shaking. He said, “Come on, go with Me. I will take that fear out of you.” He took it out of me; now, I go through the valley, as it is written, in the shadow, but I fear no evil. Allah is destroying and killing nations for us. This is why we must fly to Allah (Master Fard Muhammad) and His last and greatest Messenger (Elijah Muhammad.)

“And His name shall be in their heads!” All mighty God, Allah (Master Fard Muhammad) says to His Angels, “Go and bring everyone who is called by my name. I have created him for my own self, for my own glory!

“I do this for my fam. It’s whatever I gotta do, It’s just who I am. This the life I chose. Many enemies in the dark I sleep with one eye closed. I never fear death or dying. I only fear never trying. I am what ever I am, only Allah can judge me now. One shot, everything rides on tonight, even if I got 3 strikes, Ima go for it, this moment we own it. We are not to be played with, because it could get dangerous, see these people I ride with, this moment we own it. And may the same ones that I ride with, be the same ones that I die with, put it all out on the line with, if you looking for us you can find it, aint no way around it. What you say? Tell me what you say! Working hard, reppin for my Bros, do this everyday, taking off, looking out for all, making sure we ball, Like the mob all you do is call Catch you if you fall. Allah U Akbar!!! It’s the day in the life and I’m ready to ride, got the spirit and I’m feeling like a killer inside. Stuck to the plan, always know that we gon stand up never ran. We the fam and loyalty never change up. Been down since day one, look at where we came from. Jumping out on anybody who try an say some, one thing about it, Master Fard and Elijah gotta problem, I got the same one!!! That falsehood we fold. Plenty Hypocrites we close. Follow the same code.
