With the oceans filled with the fleets of the white Christians and the skies clouded with their death-dealing planes over other peoples’ territory could you tell them that they should submit to you for peace? If you are able to force them to their knees or to destroy them , then I say yes. If that was the situation then I would say that they should submit and let you triumph.

But you cannot force them to their knees. They have been preparing for a war like this for nearly a century; or rather I should say, they have been preparing and working faithfully for a half a century to entertain the attacker with the same type weapon and better weapons than the weapons you are attacking them with. If you resort to worse weapons they have worse weapons also.

So we are in a time when argument to the contrary of peace is like heaping fuel on a fire – it keeps it burning. We are living in an evil time.

Claim: U.S. Aegis Radar System Rendered “Useless” By Russian Plane in Black Sea Skirmish

April 22, 2014 — (TRN) — Russia is claiming its newest aircraft combat electronics system rendered a U.S. Destroyer “helpless” in a recent encounter in the Black Sea. On April 10, the USS Donald Cook was repeatedly “buzzed” by a Russian SU-24 Fighter and according to the Russian News Service Ria Novasti, the ship was incapable of obtaining radar lock with its Aegis fire-control radar due to new Russian jamming abilities. As the Fighter aircraft “buzzed” the ship — twelve separate times — the Aegis system completely failed to operate, leaving the ship and crew totally vulnerable to the Russian warplane. If these claims by Russia are true, the US Navy is completely at the mercy of Russian forces worldwide.
According to Pavel Zolotarev, deputy director of the Institute of USA and Canada at the Russian Academy of Sciences: “On 10 April, the destroyer Donald Cook ‘, with Tomahawk cruise missiles, ‘on board, was in the neutral waters of the Black Sea. The (American) aim was to perform a bullying action and show of force in the context of Russia’s position in relation to the Ukraine and the Crimea. The emergence of American warships in these waters is contrary to the Convention on the character and the time period of the stay of warships of non-riparian countries in the Black Sea. ”

In response, Russia sent an unarmed Su-24 aircraft for circumnavigation of the American destroyer. This aircraft was, however, as experts believe, equipped with the latest Russian radio-electronic combat complex. This version (of the American Destroyer) has “Aegis” which tracked the approach of the Aircraft from a distance, and triggered combat alert. Everything had gone according to plan, the American radars were reading the course from the approach to the finish. But suddenly all Aegis screens went blank . . . . “Aegis” stopped working. US missiles could not obtain a lock on target. The Su-24 flew over the deck of the destroyer, took a martial curve and imitated a simulated rocket attack against the Destroyer. Following this, the Aircraft turned and repeated the maneuver, twelve times.

Judging by everything, all attempts to get the “Aegis” functional failed to give the target lock for air defense means. Russia’s response to the military pressure by the United States had been quietly devastating, says Pavel Zolotarev: “It was a rather original demonstration. A front bomber without any armament, but with apparatus for radio-electronic suppression of radio measuring devices of the enemy on board, ran against a destroyer. That one was equipped with the most advanced air and missile defense system. But this mobile system showed a significant deficiency in this case.

These are the options for the target lock. Such systems have proven themselves well when it comes to several ships, if you can somehow coordinate their action. In this case, it’s was only a single destroyer. And to all appearances, the algorithm for the functioning of radio measuring equipment on the destroyer’s Aegis’ system was completely blocked by the use of the Russian system for radio-electronic suppression on board the Su-24.

Therefore, it was not just a nervous reaction by the Destroyer crew, which commonly happened during the Cold War. There was also a response by the modern system: It didn’t work.”

After this incident had “Donald Cook” as reported in foreign mass media, quickly made a call at a port in Romania. There, 27 crew members allegedly submitted their resignation. It is said that all 27 people had written that they had no intention of needlessly putting their lives on the line. This is indirectly confirmed by a statement from the Pentagon, which said this action left the crew of the American ship “demoralized.”

Asked What impact, if any, the incident in the Black Sea would have on the US Pavel Zolotarev said: “I believe that the Americans will somehow try to perfecti the Aegis system. That would be the purely military aspect. In political terms, there would hardly be any demonstration steps following from this side or the other. That is enough. However, this is a very embarrassing moment for Americans. Overall, the missile defense system that they developed, failed in a colossal way. Every time the US has to prove that they should get more money from the budget. At the same time the ground-based component of the missile defense, accommodated in antimissile shafts, been tested under ideal conditions, where it showed a low efficiency. The Pentagon carefully guards that secret. The latest component, the ship-based Aegis system, has now also shown its shortcomings. ”

The system with which the Russian Su-24 had put the American destroyer “Donald Cook” in a state of shock, carries the conditional designation “Khibiny”. This is the name of a mountain massif on the Kola peninsula behind the Arctic Circle. In “Khibiny” is the newest Russian complex for radio-electronic suppression of the enemy. All Russian aircraft will be equipped with it. Recently, the complex had completed testing in a war exercise on a test field in Buryatia. Judging by all the tests, the system was successful, so it was decided to test it under highly realistic conditions.
