From Russia with love — A message heard loud & clear in the halls of D.C. & Brussels

Greetings,

This fact should not be lost on anyone, be they journalists or diplomats. What took place on the early morning of April 14, by Russia’s strategic missile forces was a warning shot to NATO without saying a word. NATO has been belligerent in it’s demands on Russia, even though they are the cause of discord in Ukraine.

They have continued the tough taught and the threats on a major scale. I was wondering why didn’t Russia talk back. Well on April 14, they talked back without saying a word. And it spoke volumes to those who sit in power in D.C. & Brussels.

It is no accident that Russia fired its most advanced intercontinental ballistic missile at the height of arguing between global powers at the UN. I might add that….The RS-24 ICBM can carry multiple independently-targetable nuclear warheads designed to evade missile defense systems to a range of 12,000 kilometers (7,500 miles).

(FYI: Western forces have no answer to this missile nor the 10 to 12 independently targeted warheads it carries)

You can believe that this was not missed by those doing the planning in America and in NATO. Russia was showing its military resolve and ability to inflict unacceptable damage on anyone who may dare go to war with them. It also comes on the heels of Russia sending warplanes to fly directly over a US navy destroyer in the Black Sea, to show them that Russia is a force to be reckoned with and you better start to take their security interests more serious less you underestimate your opponent ,while over estimating you and your allies strengths.

(RIA Novosti) – The Russian Strategic Missile Forces test-fired on Monday an RS-24 Yars intercontinental ballistic missile from a launch site in northwest Russia, the Defense Ministry said.

According to a ministry’s spokesman, Col. Igor Yegorov, the launch was carried out at 10.40 a.m. Moscow time (06:40 GMT) from a mobile launcher at the Plesetsk space center.

The test was successful as the simulated warhead hit a designated target at the Kura test range on Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula, Yegorov said.

The fifth-generation RS-24 Yars (NATO reporting name SS-29) is an upgraded version of the Topol-M ballistic missile that was first tested in 2007.

The RS-24 ICBM can carry multiple independently-targetable nuclear warheads designed to evade missile defense systems to a range of 12,000 kilometers (7,500 miles).

The Defense Ministry previously said the Topol-M and RS-24 ballistic missiles would be the mainstays of the ground-based component of Russia’s nuclear triad and would account for no less than 80 percent of the SMF’s arsenal by 2016.
