The crumbling empire: America is suffering from economic and political paralysis.

Greetings,

America is suffering from economic and political paralysis. There is no soundness in their government. There is no agreement between the elected officials and their constituents. Stagnation  is leading to the degradation and the devolution of the nation.

Chaos reigns supreme. Division and divisive politics is the order of the day. But truth be told, ”   Injustice, crooked politics, and the breeding of corruption under crooked politics have been practiced ever since Adam to the present day rulers. Adam was the first crook. There has not been justice for the Black man in this race of people, and this is why the race suffers from the effect of chaos today.”–pg.36(tfoa)

In the Bible, “Jeremiah (51:46) prophesies violence in the midst of Babylon (a future Babylon) and “ruler against ruler.” Is not this true of the American government and people today? “Her whole land (people) shall be confounded” (Jeremiah 51:47.) Is not this true of the American government and people today? They are fast becoming confounded. “–pg.136(tfoa)

Graham: Obama is a pathetic leader

Senator Lindsey Graham

 Senator Lindsey Graham

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has sharply criticized US President Barack Obama and House Republicans for the ongoing government shutdown.

“The president is a pathetic leader. He’s only engaged in the last couple of days,” Graham said on Saturday after the Senate blocked action for a “clean” debt-ceiling increase through 2014.

“Every time you get close to getting a deal over here with our Democratic friends, they move the ball because some poll comes out. Our friends in the House apparently can’t muster the votes to send something over here to open up the government. So it’s dysfunction at every level,” he added.

The government shutdown entered its 13th day on Sunday with no end in sight.

The South Carolina Republican said he is frustrated with the negotiations in the past days.

“You can blame us [Republicans], we’ve overplayed our hand, that’s for damn sure,” Graham said.

“But their response, where the president and [Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid] basically shutting everybody out, and when you try to negotiate, they keep changing the terms of the deal … it’s very frustrating,” he was quoted as saying by POLITICO.

“This is a very frustrated Lindsey Graham,” he added. “Which is a very dangerous thing.”

Graham warned that the twin government shutdown-debt ceiling fight “has gotten to be a real crisis for the country. But everybody keeps changing their position based on politics.”
