A PROCLAMATION
Whereas on the 22nd day of September, A.D. 1862, a proclamation was issued by the President of the United States, containing, among other things, the following, to wit:
“That on the 1st day of January, A.D. 1863, all persons held as slaves within any State or designated part of a State the people whereof shall then be in rebellion against the United States shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free…”

AS YOU CAN SEE, THE “PROCLAMATION” ONLY FREED SLAVES IN “REBELLIOUS” STATES.

“…the Emancipation Proclamation as a military order applying only to slaves in parts of the South not yet returned to control by the Union offered no larger vision of the place of African Americans in a restored Union. ….”

Salaam–The HALF-ORIGINAL President, Mr. Abraham Lincoln(read THE 5 NEGRO PRESIDENTS, by Mr. J.A. Rogers), stated in a letter to Mr. Horace Greeley owner of the New York Tribune, “My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is NOT either to save or destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing ANY slave, I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing ALL the slaves, I would do it; and if I could do it by freeing SOME and leaving others alone, I would also do that.”(SLAVERY-OPPOSING VIEWPOINTS,1992-page 266)—So, Old Abe didnot “free us”, once again we caught this Devil in a lie. This one more example of why history is important!—The Truth is WE freed ourselves, and men like The Great Mahdi W. Fard Muhammad, The Messenger Elijah Muhammad and Mr. Marcus Garvey came to keep us free!!!!–ALLAH-U-AKBAR
