Post-9/11 wars: a defeat of Western values
After the 9/11 attacks, the US made the decision to invade Afghanistan and Iraq. The wars in the next two decades resulted in heavy casualties and ended in disastrous failure. As for US, it’s not just a military defeat but a defeat of Western values.
