Russia’s Almaz-Antei to sell Iran S-300 missile system once deal reached
Russia’s Almaz-Antei has said it will supply Iran with the advanced S-300 missile defense system once a commercial agreement is reached.
The state arms producer said Tuesday that Russian authorities had removed all restrictions on deliveries, Reuters reported.
A deal to sell S-300 systems to Iran was scrapped in 2010 under pressure from the West. In April, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree ending the self-imposed ban.
