Bankrupt and dejected, America is trying to put on a face of confidence and an air of power projection in the midst of her waning influence. She wants to put over to the other nations that she still hold the reigns of global power, when in fact she is near total collapse. This is an act of bravado by a bankrupt former hegemon.

She is still arrogant, but each time she flexes her muscles, it costs tens of millions and even billions of dollars that she must borrow from the same nations she is provoking to war. This is what we term crackhead diplomacy. She is acting like a crazed crackhead lashing out at her former dope dealers who refuse to give her anymore crack(buy her debt).

She still believes that she can force them into her policies through the use of her tired worn out overstretched military. But we know that Russia is far from being Libya, Iraq, or Yugoslavia, economically…politically…& militarily.

But because America is delusional, and she is in total derision, she continues on in her havoc making ways that will surely bring the full wrath of those whom she deems as her enemies. Just imagine what America’s reaction would be to Russia holding war games in the Gulf of Mexico or on her Northern border with Canada or on her Southern border with Mexico!

US plans military maneuvers in Russia’s backyard: Official

The United States is planning to conduct military maneuvers in the next few weeks in Russia’s backyard as tensions between the two countries escalate over Ukraine, a Western official says.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the plan, said on Saturday that the drills are expected to take place in Poland and Estonia, but other locations in Eastern Europe are also considered.

According to the official, the maneuvers will last for about two weeks, but no specific date has been announced.

He also said that the United States will deploy some 150 troops for the exercises.

On Friday, the Washington Post reported that the Obama administration is planning to send thousands of troops to Poland.

A day after meeting with US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel at the Pentagon on Thursday, Polish Defense Minister Tomasz Siemoniak visited the Washington Post and told the newspaper that Poland and the US will announce next week “the deployment of US ground forces to Poland as part of an expansion of NATO presence in Central and Eastern Europe in response to events in Ukraine.”

In an interview with Press TV on Saturday, American political commentator Don DeBar noted that the US is “placing the military resources into the theater for an attack on Russia.”

He added that the Russians are apparently being encircled by the US military.

Washington and Moscow are at loggerheads over the situation in Ukraine.

In a meeting on Thursday, Russia, Ukraine, the US and the European Union agreed over steps to “de-escalate” the crisis in eastern Ukraine, where anti-Kiev protesters seized buildings in several towns and cities.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian authorities have ordered a military offensive against the protesters, claiming that Russian special forces are fueling unrest in the country.

However, Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed as “nonsense” claims that Russian special forces are fomenting the unrest in eastern Ukraine.

“It’s all nonsense, there are no Russian units, special forces or instructors in the east of Ukraine,” Putin said.
