Al of this public bravado is to see if he can cower Russia and Ukraine. This will not happen though, because the stakes are too high. Other than sanctions, there is not much America can do to Ukraine. They well know this.

  Let us remind Mr. President that Ukraine is a member of the post Soviet organization CSTO. Under membership rules, if one nation is attacked, all other members must come to its aid. Russia just so happen to be the presiding power member of that block.

  There is absolutely no way that Russia could allow America and or NATO to intervene militarily in Ukraine. Her power would wane. Her position and political clout would be destroyed. Her alliances would come to an immediate halt.

  Also let us remember that Ukraine is actually a former territory of Russia. That would be like Russia attacking Hawaii or California and America did nothing but sit idol. It’s impossible.

  Also, Ukraine has a military industry closely connected with Russia. They also have the plutonium/uranium reserved to remake hundreds of nukes within weeks. And they still have good missile technology from Soviet days to deliver them to not only every European nation, but also to deliver warheads to America proper.

   Here are few other things to think of. If US leaders were insane enough to get involved militarily in Ukraine, because they think they have a military edge due to NATO, think again. An attack on Ukraine would force the entire CSTO into action against America and NATO(Europe).

  This would in turn force the members of the Russian/Chinese lead Shanghi Co-operation Organization into action due to the mutual defense security pact in their Organization’s charter. It would quickly escalate into thermal nuclear war. And this would happen before America/NATO could put their so-called complete ABM system into operation.

  Again, too much is at stake and America would due fine to stay out of it, especially since she hasn’t won a decisive war since WW2.
