Europe in turmoil: This may lead to conflict ,because Russia cannot allow, and I believe will not allow, Ukraine to head West. There is too much at stake.

We actually know what’s going on. America is pushing EU members to put pressure on Ukraine to leave the orbit of Russia. This may lead to conflict & war, because Russia cannot allow, and I believe will not allow, Ukraine to head West. There is too much at stake.

This geopolitical tug of war being play by America(through the EU) & Russia(covertly) is because…”There is still the cold war in Berlin, between America and Russia and in other parts of Europe, to be reckoned with. Europe will become a dreaded spot when America leaves Asia. It is true, as the prophets have predicted, that America must come out of Asia, or be thrown out.

Each, America and Russia, the two most powerful war-factors of the world, is seeking to maintain their rule over the nations of earth, and even to conquer outer-space.”–pg.231(tfoa)

Russian President Vladimir Putin has criticized the West for meddling in Ukraine’s internal affairs, saying Moscow will not scrap its aid deal with Kiev even if the opposition comes to power.

“In response to your question whether we would review our loan and energy agreements if opposition comes to power, I say: No, we won’t,” Putin said in a joint press conference with European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, following an EU-Russia summit at the EU Headquarters in Brussels on Tuesday.

Criticizing the trips of European and US officials to Ukraine to support anti-government protests, he said, “I can imagine how our European partners would react if our foreign minister addressed an anti-EU meeting in Greece or Cyprus at the peak of the crisis there.”

He stressed that the visits worsened the crisis in the country.

“We do not think this is a good thing to do, and it is absolutely unacceptable and impossible for us, given the nature of relations between Russia and Ukraine,” he noted.

Moscow has offered Kiev a $15-billion aid loan. The EU accuses Russia of offering a large amount of financial aid to Ukraine in order to turn the country away from the bloc.

Ukraine has been rocked by anti-government protests after Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych refrained from signing the Association Agreement with the EU at the third Eastern Partnership Summit in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius on November 29, 2013.

Kiev refused to sign the agreement after EU leaders called on Ukraine to allow jailed opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko to travel overseas for medical treatment.
