What iran is doing with these war games is showing Israel, America, & NATO allies that any military misadventure either into Syria(who shares a mutual defense pact with Iran) or any misadventure into Iran proper will carry with them deadly and costly consequences.
Iran test-fires missiles capable of hitting Israel
The Iranian military has test-fired several types of missiles, with some of those capable of hitting targets in Israel.
This came in a report by the local Al-Alam television channel earlier today. According to Al-Alam, the missiles test-fired by Tehran were the Shahab-1, Shahab-2 and Shahab-3.
It also tested the Fateh and Tondar missiles in a desert in central Iran. Shahab-3 has a range of 2,000 kilometres, so effectively it can deliver strikes on Israel.
The Iranian military explains that it needs to test how precise the missiles will prove when targeting a “foreign Air Force base”.
