The Middle Eastern/North African Realignment is underway and America will be the loser

Here is something that should be considered here. Why would Egypt use Russian Military bases? Can they project Military power outside their own region?  If not, then why is this being announced?

No Egypt cannot project any formidable military power outside of it’s region of influence. This brings to mind, then why agree to such an agreement, when you actually have no use or need for the use of Russian military facilities in the Russian Federation?

It is a cover. Like most nations in the MENA region, they are making a break towards Russia. But some, like Egypt, don’t want to give the West/American military apparatus any cause to move on them before things are in place.
